The mode of IAS exam conducted is offline. It is conducted only once every year. The age limit of appearing in IAS exam is between 21 and 32 years. The exam pattern and question types for prelims IAS paper are only MCQs and for mains,paper is descriptive type.
The other name of this IAS exam is CSE or civil service examination.
